‘I wish you a very nice day, Mr. Head Physician. Exactly one week ago You have completed suture-free vitrectomy of left eye.  Today I went for check-up to Tábor hospital as agreed (due to the distance) and everything was ok, I would like you to know. And I shall return in 3 weeks. The eye healed completely without any sign of intervention.  I feel great, today I managed to focus in distance, I did not expect it to happen so fast. I can see almost identically to the state before the intervention and more so!!! CLEARLY!!! I am so happy, it is such a relieve … I would like to THANK you sincerely.  I have to say I was worried, but except for the first 3 days, it is an intervention which I would recommend to anyone with this complaint.  A new life has started, you gave me this new life!!! Thank you. If the operated eye heals completely and there are no complications in the future, I would have the second eye operated next year.  I have something in there too (small on the side of the eye where it can well ignored) but I am afraid it will get worse.   Especially when one is only 34 years.   What do you think? When shall I have the second eye operated? And knowing there is a solution and quick ‘return’, I really would like to go ahead.  I have to highlight the approach in your centre (reception desk, nurses, everybody…), you are a great team, positive people in the right positions.  I was refused in hospital, xxxxx, xxxxx, and in other places – get used to it :-) I am happy I never gave up and found you.  I feel like reborn.
